Ellen DeGeneres created the ED by Ellen lighting collection in collaboration with Generation Lighting. Through ED, Ellen adds her personal touch to create high-quality, beautifully designed, lighting and decor products. The lifestyle brand largely focuses on the Mid-Century Modern and Rustic styles, offering an array of ceiling, pendant, floor and table lamps. The products are inspired by some of Ellen’s favorite artists as well as many signature pieces found around her homes.

In an effort to consolidate its decorative offerings under one name, Generation Lighting has rebranded as Visual Comfort & Co. As a part of this transformation, the Visual Comfort Studio Collection has expanded its product range to include designs from renowned partners such as ED Ellen DeGeneres, Thomas O'Brien, Kelly Wearstler, Aerin, Alexa Hampton, and Sean Lavin. The collection continues to utilize techniques and materials that produce designer looks that are budget-friendly. As with all of Visual Comfort's productions, the collection draws inspiration from the past and present and works closely with well-known design partners and brands.
