The HYDRA collection was designed with the idea of bringing the luminosity of a star into a lamp. This gave rise to the name in Latin for the long, luminous constellation HYDRA. The new lamp takes the shape of a conically illuminated disc in the centre that shines by making the most of the high quality of the LED source. The central frosted glass bulb reflects the light onto the handcrafted glass shade, generating a uniform light beam. The collection, with its minimal yet refined design, offers total freedom of composition, adapting to any type of environment, like a star, with no boundaries of space or time. Hydra is available in pendant, wall and ceiling versions, can be made in three sizes and in different colours, and creates a highly decorative atmosphere by shining and bringing light into the dark.
Cangini & Tucci
The name of the company Cangini & Tucci derives from its rich tradition. In 1961 master Cangini established a factory in Cesena, Italy, where he produced glass elements by hand through traditional glass processing. More than 25 years later, his son-in-law took over the factory, using learned traditional techniques to create beautiful chandeliers and utility lamps. Today, the company is gaining more and more international recognition. Cangini & Tucci lamps from the Van Gogh collection, designed in collaboration with the museum’s artists, can be seen in Amsterdam at the Van Gogh Museum.
