Staying true to their roots, LZF lighting has been a stand out company since 1994. Based in Valencia, Spain, LZF specializes in hand-made wood veneer lighting, with their unique lamps bringing character to any space. Starting off as a relatively small company, LZF has managed to achieve major recognition in the design world, growing to become one of the world’s most respected boutique lighting companies.

One of the great things about LZF is their large selection of lighting fixtures, designed using their iconic material and known to create a soft atmosphere balancing the beauty of wood and lighting. LZF carries lighting for all occasions and spaces which is hand crafted and made to bring a natural, raw charm.

Today, the company continues to design new lighting collections that are entirely hand-made. Still based in Valencia, the company moved their office to a charming winery in the country side.

Wood Shade Finishes

LZF’s lighting comes in a variety of wood shade finishes. For a more natural look, you can choose a wood tone like beech or cherry. For a fun, eye-catching look, you can choose colourful tones like red, sea blue, and pale rose. With so many colours to choose from, LZF's lighting is suitable for a variety of spaces.

The science behind these beautiful lights… 

LZF’s wood veneers are treated with a technique patented by the company, called Timberlite®. Thin layers of veneer are laminated on both sides, making the lamps fire-resistant and durable without any chemical processes.

Once the veneers are laminated, the layers of wood are bent to take on a variety of different shapes. The wood is cared for as if it were a precious fabric, creating these harmonious, elegant, and unique forms.

LZF is FSC® certified, dedicated to promoting responsible forest management worldwide. Wood for the lamps is sourced from well-managed FSC® certified forests and other controlled sources. By supporting LZF, you are supporting the responsible management of the world’s forests.

The packaging of each product is as biodegradable as possible. Cardboard boxes are made in part from recycled cardboard, the bags used to cover the lamps are made from potato starch, a natural and biodegradable material that protects the lamp from any possible scratches.
